FPCT–Tesifa Children’s Home
FPCT–Tesifa Children’s Home began in 2020, born from compassion and anchored in faith. At the time, Rachael and her late husband Mark were leading a small teaching ministry in their Kange neighbourhood in Tanga when they became aware of a situation involving a few local children who were in need of safety, consistency, and care..

Our Family Model
At FPCT–Tesifa Children’s Home, we believe that every child deserves more than shelter, they deserve a family. Each of our homes is led by devoted house parents who live alongside the children, creating an atmosphere of love, guidance, and faith-led nurture.
Through this family model, our children learn what healthy relationships look and feel like. They grow up witnessing care, trust, and belonging in daily life; lessons that rebuild hope and prepare them not only to one day build beautiful families of their own, but to transform their communities with steadfast love.
Looking ahead, our vision is to expand this model to Thayu Farm, a piece of land we are blessed to steward and soon call home. There, we plan to establish four additional family units where the children can live close to the land rooted in the rhythms of nature and daily care. It will be a place of deep anchoring and belonging, a living classroom in faith, sustainability, and the simple beauty of home.
