Kila Dada Initiative
Vision
To cultivate a regenerative world where every girl’s body, voice, and cycle are resourced, honoured, and central to the thriving of her community.
The Need
Across Kenya and Tanzania, thousands of girls still navigate adolescence without access to menstrual products, comprehensive education, or safe spaces to explore their own becoming.

Our Rationale
One of the easiest ways to tell if an ecosystem is thriving is by observing its reproductive cycles. Kila Dada focuses on how girls and women move through these cycles and how to nourish them so they are not just markers for individual wellness but also contributors to the community's progress.
Our Work
The Mwanzo Kit
Reusable menstrual products that restore dignity, comfort, and confidence — sustainably made and co-designed with the girls themselves. Each kit supports continuity in school and redefines what access looks like.
Since 2020, nearly 2 000 kits have been distributed across Kenya and Tanzania.
Dada Kwanza Education
Regenerative learning circles where girls and women explore menstrual literacy, sexual safety, and emotional wellbeing through story and science. Each session invites openness, belonging, and voice.
Education that feels like home — blending science with culture, courage with care.
Emergency Response & Care
When crisis strikes, we act — offering safe passage, urgent tests, or quiet acts of care that can mean survival. Presence itself becomes intervention, weaving protection into every response.
