When they learned that the children lived with an aunt battling alcoholism, they did what they could; bringing food, clothes, small kindnesses, but the help never reached the little ones. Local officials, already familiar with the situation, revealed to them that if they truly wanted to help, the children needed to be taken out of that environment altogether. It was a moment of deep reckoning, and an even deeper calling.

With no money but overflowing faith in Christ, they said yes. What followed could only be described as grace in motion. God provided a house; a safe, warm place that became home. They furnished it with the bare essentials, prayed over every wall, and welcomed the children in. By the year’s end, a nearby private school opened its doors to them, allowing fees to be paid in small faith-filled steps, as provision came.

Nearly five years later, FPCT–Tesifa Children’s Home stands as a quiet testimony to what love, faith, and courage can grow. From three children to eight, each one now healthy, joyful, and rooted in hope. What began as an act of compassion has become a living altar of new beginnings, where broken stories are rewritten by grace, and little hearts learn to believe again.
